New York City Part 2

Some more highlights from New York were playing on the piano from "Big," going to the Central Park Zoo, going swimming, and seeing West Side Story(for me...not Mila)!

The zoo had a petting zoo...Mila and Harper had so much fun looking at the animals and climbing on everything!

Mila and Harper also just had fun hanging out in the bathtub and brushing their teeth. A whole city full of activities and these were some of their favorite things to do!

Me and Ruth got front row tickets to West Side Story. We were so excited and it was a lot of fun! The only thing that would've made it better would have been if Maria knew how to speak Spanish...is New York City really running low on spanish speakers?? Really?

Mila and Abbi after swimming...cute girls!

New York City Part 1

Mila and I made our way to New York City(or Nork city as Mila caled it) to visit some friends. We had a lot of New York adventures, and it was a great time. Here are a few of the highlights:

Mila with Marc and Sunny and Harper. Mila has never been so tall, and she loved it! They were wonderful hosts and we had the best time.

Mila and Harper looking at the sharks at the Natural History Museum. Woofie(her little dog) had to go everywhere with her for some reason...she hasn't been that way for a long time. It was probably because I told her Woofie was born in New York City(Marc and Sunny got woofie for Mila 2 yrs ago when we came to visit and she has been her favorite ever since).
She is making woofie bend her arms like the gorillas we were looking at.

We also went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We only stayed for about an hour because that place is really quiet...an toddlers are not. I wanted Mila to see the Pollock painting featured in Olivia. Sure enough she recognized it and said, "I could do that in about five minutes" So the goal of the day was accomplished. It probably helped that I got her excited about the museum by saying we were going to go to the same museum Olivia likes to go.

Munching on granola bars for lunch...for the record they also had fruit.
